It sucks for an entirely different reason.  I have been approaching this entire blog with the focus of an aspiring game critic.  While that still remains one of my ambitions in life, I feel that I would enjoy this blog much more if I simply wrote about what I am currently playing and why I enjoy it.  There are maybe one or two people who read these posts who want me to take a really critical stance against the bad games I have played, I feel that I should reserve the criticism–for the time being– to someone who really makes a great living doing that very thing.  I urge you to check out Ben “Yahtzee” Croshaw’s videos at escapistmagazine.com/videos/view/zero-punctuation.  This man has the gift for gab, comedic wit, and a very no-frills critical eye.

In short, my “game reviews” and related reviews scoring will be canned in favor of “Games I am Playing,”  ”Games I like,”  and “Publishers I like” segments wherein I will gush about the great things I am seeing in the world of video games.

Anyone who wants me to blast something that doesn’t make the grade can send me a message and I will consider adding a “games that totally suck” topic at a later date.

On a more serious note, my e-mail box has recently been flooded with Electronic Federal Tax Payment Service Scams.  The IRS released a bulletin regarding this scourge a few months ago and I am now writing to inform you that it is alive and well.  Within two days, my sundaygamer.com e-mail address–which I have been very judicious in distributing, mind you–has received four of these bullshit phishing e-mails.    All it took was one glance to know that these things were complete ass-feces.  Check it out and see if you can spot the bullshit:

If anyone is upset by the death of this poor, sad-looking creature, feel free to contact the Farmville homepage on facebook and voice your concerns.  I really wanted to keep this fine beast, but the game said it had already been adopted and would not let me move it to my farm; it just sat there staring at me with its adorably pitiful eyes.  I knew it hadn’t been adopted yet.  There was only one thing I could do.  I loaded up the 12-gauge and took her out behind the barn.
